Circle C Community Center and Pool:The community center is a steel structure with a standing seam roof, stone exterior, wood soffits, and accents. The interior space is a combination of resident lobby entrance, offices and meeting spaces. The exterior is an integrated porch, lawn and pool experience. The pool is designed with families in mind with a shoreline entrance for young kids, a big curly slide, volleyball space and a deeper end with pods for adult hangouts. Burnished CMU block and steel provide a space for restrooms and changing space. The lot is in the middle of the residential south end of Circle C with lots of trees. The site is in the Edwards Aquifer sensitive recharge zone with karst rock accents. A detention and reirrigation system was implemented to prevent runoff and comply with city requirements.
